THE DEFENCE OF ENGLAND.
LONDON, sth September The Navy has undertaken the aerial defence of England, particularly London. Waterplanes are continually patrolling the East _ Coast. Searchlights are employed at night, and guns adapted for defence against aircraft are mounted on the roofs of Government' buildings. Numerous aeroplanes are being kept handy for the purpose of attacking hostile craft.
