AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY
. —^ — The third annual meeting of the Wellington Amateur, Photographic Society was held in the club-room on Friday evening. The report and balance-sheet showed the society to be in a satisfactory position. During the year two competitions were held. . The president (Mr. Denton) presented a prize for the best lcsults in connection with the monthly studies, and it was won by Mr. Greig. The competition for the best attendance at the "Field Day Rambles and Results" was won by Mr. H. C. Milne. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: — Patron, Mr. J. P. Luke; president, Mr. P. N. Denton ; vicepresidents, Dr. Newman, M.P., Messrs. C. Archibald, W. H. P. Barber, IT. Brittain, Malcolm Ross, John Smith, A. Waterworth, and B. M. White; committee, MiaS Welsby, Messrs. 2s. Beck, Edmauson, Milne, Norton, and W. Platt ; lion, treasurer, Miss M. E. Young ; hon, secretary, Mr. Geo, Greig.
