LADIES' GAMES
Two ladies' games were played at Karori, Rambler A meeting Girls' College/ and Syrens playing an eight-a-side game with College Old Girle. College made a. plucky stand against their older opponents, and were only beaten by four to nil after a well fought contest. Syrens and Old Girls could only muster eight players each, the former securing the hollow victory of nine goals to one. EKETAHUNA v. WELLINGTON. . Manning (sole selector) to represent Wellington in the match against Efeetahuna, which is to be played on the Basin Reserve on Saturday next as a. curtain raiser to {he North r.
