AN EMPIRE TRADE LEAGUE.
(Received. September 7, 8 a.m.) OTTAWA. 6th September. The Hon. G. E. Foster, Minister of Trade and Commerce, has issued an appeal to Canadian manufacturers to «capture all ax'ailable German overseas trade, to make up to the Empire for its losses during the war. The whole Empire, he cays, should covenant together to purchase only goods made within the Empire itself.
