PANAMA CANAL
TO BE OPENED ON 15th OF NEXT MONTH. (Bj. Telejtraph.—Press Association.—Capyrljht.) (Received July 27, 8.30 a.m.) WASHINGTON, 26th July. It is announced that the Panama Canal will be opened for commerce on 15th August, The opening will be celebrated by the passage of a Government vessel, the Chnstobal. Only vessels of 30 feet draught will be allowed to use the canal at present.
