_—_^.— CRICKET COUNCIL EXECUTIVE. (BT TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) . ' CHRISTCHURCH, 26th July.' At * a meeting of the New Zealand Cricket Council to-night, the /Management , Committee announced that they ( had decided to .retire from office, • and Would" not» se'elt re-election' at the 'nejct annual meeting 1 of the council.- The secretary and treasurer also announced that they were resigning. A motion was proposed .that ho action of the delegates in the Rast could .be construed to be in the natxire of want of confidence in the Management Committee, and that the committee' be requested to reconsider the question of resignation in. a body. The motion, however, was ruled put of order, and the intention of the committee and officers to resign therefore stands.
