SUNDAY CONCERT

- — «». „ - A very enjoyable concert was given by the New Zealand Natives' Association in the Grand Opera House last evening, the building being crowded. The numbers, "Credo" (Gounod), "I Know that My Kedifrmer Liveth" (Handel), "There is a Green Hill," and "The Gloria" from ' Mozart's Twelfth Mass, given by the Natives' Association orchestra, were all ,well rendered, and encores were insisted upon. "Thou Shalt Rest with Me in Paradise" was sung very nicely by Mr. H. J. Wilson, and the same remark may be applied to the baritdne solo, " Lord, My God," given by Mr. Charles Clarkson. Th'B duet, "Break, Divine Light, ' by Messrs. Clarkson and C. V. Mohr, proved deservedly popular. The cornet solo "Calvary" was played by Mr. F. Davey, with orchestral accompaniment.
