(BT TELEGRAPH—SPECIAL TO THB POST.) MASTERTON, This Day. The death occurred on Saturday evening of Mrs. Daniell, wife of Mr. C. E. Daniel, of this town. The deceased lady, who was sixty years of age, had been ailing for some time, ard her condition became serious during the pa3t week. . She was born in England, and came to New Zealand with her husband thirtyfour years ago. and had resided iv Masterton all that time. The late Mrs. ( Daniel was widely respected for the as sistance she always gave towards any 1 benevolent institution, and she was also a prominent church woman. She leaves 1 ' a grown-up family of four sons and i eight daughters. The Masterton Gun Club has received sixty-six entries for the big £200 live pigeon match to be shot off at Solway ,on Thursday. The entries, which in- " <slude the best gun shots from all parts of the Dominion, constitute a record for New Zealand.
