The laws of auction bridge, as revised by the Portland Club, have been issued. The> chief point is the abolition of the dual value of the spades suit. The lower value has been eliminated, but the royal value remains. Other suit* remain as at present' — clubs, six ; diamonds, seven ; hearts, eight; no trumps, ten. Tho dealer, however, is no lohgei 1 compelled to make a declaration.
