The action in which Frederic fcihipman, manager of the late Madame Nordica's tour of Australia last year, claimed £2000 damages, for alleged slander, from Ernest Simmons (pianist in the Nordica Company) resulted in a verdict for the defendant. .Shipman will appeal to the High Court of Australia.
