MORE COLD WEATHER
There were some very heavy showers of rain last night, which did not bode well for the morrow. A rapidly- moving Antarctic depression passed in' the south early this morning and gales wero reported in many parts of tho Dominion, the winds having changed everywhere to south-westerly j in fact, New Zealand as a whole has been experiencing lough weather. This morning was dull locally, and some rain fell, though in the afternoon tho conditions improved considerably. A very cold night is probable.
