IRONICAL CHEERS FOR MR. LLOYD GEORGE. NEW MEMBERS TAKE THEIR SEATS. SPEAKER EXPLAINS TO MR. BONAR LAW. / (Received May 26, 10 a.m.) LONDON, 25th May. The House of Commons was crowded to-day. , The Chancellor of the Exchequer (Mr. Lloyd George) was greeted with ironical cheers, and cries of " Where's Charley Masterman? " There was a renewed demonstration on the admission of Alajor Bow den and Mi". Ganzoni, the newly-elected Unionist members for North-east Derbyshire and Ipswich respectively. When explaining to Mr. Bonar Law (Leader of the Opposition) that he regretted his implication that Mr. Bonar Law was responsible for the recent disorder in the House which led to the suspension of the sitting, the Speaker said ho ought not to have used tho expression he did. He proceeded to suggest that Mr.'Asquith should give further information regarding the amending Home Rule Bill. Mr. Bonar Law paid a warm tribute to the Speaker's impartiality, and said that, as Leader of tho Opposition, he (Mr. Law) would always endeavour to support the Chair. Mr. Asquith said the Government intended to incorporate in tho amending Bill any settlement which was reached before the Bill was introduced. Otherwise, it would contain the offer of Bth March — exclusion for six years. [The Speaker enquired whether Mr. Bonar Law assented to the disorder. Mr. Bonar Law replied that he would not presume to criticise what the Speaker considered his duty, but his (Mr. Bonar Law's) own duty was not to answer such a question.] \ MEMBERS ATTEND ON CRUTCHES NATIONALISTS DEMONSTRATE IN THE LOBBIES. , 4 FOR CONVEYANCE OF POLICE AND MILITARY. (Received May 26, 11.20 a.m.) LONDON, 25th May. One Liberal and two Nationalists were absent ancf did {not pair. Two members attended on crutches. Renewed Nationalist demonstrations took place in the lobbies. Further detachments of constabulary, fully armed, have been drafted to Ulster. The railways havo been ordered to bo ready to convey military if the police requisition assistance.
