STUDENTS' CARNIVAL

Although the University Senate has abolished the annual capping ceremony, it would appear that the students of Victoria College do not intend to be deprived of the festivities which in the past have accompanied that interesting function. The students are at present working strenuously to provide 'something special i'or the edification and amusement of the public, and, incidentally, themselves. From the public's point of view, tbo chief items will be the precession and tho performance of an extravaganza entitled "Boadicea,"' the purpose of which is to acquaint the citi•.ien.s o' Wellington with the facts, precisely J?s t v iey occurred, connected with the arrival 'of Julius Caesar in Great Britain.
