At the wool sales there was animated competition at the highest prices of the series. Americans were keen on merinos and fine crossbreds. NEW ZEALAND CLIP PRICES. LONDON, Bth May. At the wool sales the following prices were realised for the fleece portions of the New Zealand clips named : — Aporae, top price 13d, average price ll|d; Opoiti, Hid and 10|d ; Tourere, 12d and 10|d; Tikapu, 12d and ll^d ; Upcot, 12d and Hid; Kiku, 14id and 12idj Titi, 13id and llfd.
