As the outcome of the discussion at the ivcent' conference of the Federated Seamen's Union of Australasia as to whether application should be made to the Arbitiation Court for cancellation of the award, in order to revert to the old method of the strike as a means of adjusting grievances, the exerutivo has circiilariWd .ill branches of Iho union, emphasising tlio f.*cl, that the union has definitely decided to abide by its award. Members have been duly warned of tha intention of the executive to enforce the rules strictly in every case. Where breaches are proved there will bo no hesitation in inflicting penalties.
