At the enquiry into the wreck last week of the steamer Saint Paul off Cape Moreton, the evidence showed that it was the captain's first command of a steamer. The native who was at the wheel heard the captain say that he had lost his bearings. It ie considered unlikely that any of the bodies will be recovered, ac the spot is infested with enormous ferocious sharks. Tho enquiry has been adjourned.
