(From Our Own Correspondent.) LONDON. 20th February. Lady Islington and the Hon. Joani Dickson-Poynder are on the Continent. Lady Islington has taken a house in Paris till April. The Hon. Helen and the Hon. Eileen Plunket hay« returned to London, and have joined their parents at 6, Ormonde Gate. Chelsea. / Mr. W. H. R. Hinde (Oriel College, Oxford, and Wellington, New Zealand) is a meniDer of the hockey team which is to meet Cambridge at Beckenham this month. Miss May Beatty has completed a very successful pantomime season of seven' weeks in Glasgow,, playing in "Babes in the Wood." Presently she will appear in London. Mr.' and Mrs. Arthur Burberry (Wellington) are in Egypt. It is announced that they intend to live at Ascot. Mr. F. P. Wilson, Lecturer on Economics at Victoria College, Wellington, left this morning by the s.s. Remuera, on his return voyage. Since arriving here, Mr. Wilson, has attended a number of lectures of the London School of Economics, also he has made a special study of econpmice and the commercial side of. education at a number of universities, including Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Glasgow. He is due in Wellington early in April. Dr. H. I. Rawson, son. of Mr. Herbert Rawson (Wellington), who has lately taken his degree of M.R.C.S., has been appointed House Physician to the Essex County Hospital, Colchester Mr. Cecil Donne, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. .E. Donne, is making satisfactory progTess alter an operation for appendicitis, which was performed in a London nursing home by Dr. Kellock, a well-known specialist. New Zealand-bound passengers sailing by the Malwa include : — Mrs. Dalrymple (Wellington), Miss L. Dickeson (Auckland), Mr. A. F. Giles (Dunedin), Miss Giles. The latest list of callers at the Sew Zealand Government Office includes the following names : — Mr M. L. Lane (Umstchurch), Mr. W. Butler (Wellington). Mr W J. Butler (Ruatapu), Miss M. Butterworth (Christchurch), Miss I. Butterworth, Miss Florence Ker (Wellington), Mr. F. H. Hooke (Lincoln).
