Mr. Swede, chief engineer of the Awahou, came ashore on Saturday, and Mr. P. Harrower joined the vessel as second engineer. Mr. a. Brown is at present relieving Mr. A. P. Leutz as mate of the Blenheim. HIMITANGI AT LYTTELTON. All anxiety us to the safety of the steamer Himitaugi has been set at rest by the vessel's ai rival at Lyttelton late on Saturday night. It is expected that the vessel will leave the southern port to-night, and arrive here tomorrow afternoon or evening. HAWKES BAY' 3 DEPARTURE. The departure for London of the Tyser liner Hawkes Bay has been fixed for noon to-mor-row. The Arahura arrived at Westport from Wellington, via Usual ports, at 9 o'clock lust night, and left at 2.30 o clock this morning for Greymouth. She returns to Wellington on Wednesday night. Duo here from northern ports to-mori'ow, the Maitai has about 473 tons of cargo to discharge before sailing for Lyttelton and Dunedin. The Rakanoa is due here on Thursday next to take in a load of sheep at Petone for Lyttelton.
