Montigny Remaury, illustrates a legend in which Death wakes the skeletons in a churchyard at midnight with his violin. Tho piece was finely interpreted by the organist. "Concerto in D Minor," by Handel, was a beautiful and intricate number, and the charm of Willan's " Prelude and Fugue in C Minor " was thoroughly appieciated by the audience. Another item which found favour was " Benediction Nuptiale " by Saint-Saens, a characteristic and delightful work. Other numbers included, " Cansona " (Wolstenholme), "Savoyard Chant" (Wareing), and three movements of the "Deuvieme" suite by Boellniann.
