The wreck of the Saint Paul at Cape Moreton is causing considerable comment in the press on the ill-lighted shores. References are made to Captain BrewiVs (officer in charge of the coastal light service) report, in which he recommended that the Cape Moreton lights should be replaced by more powerful ones. The newspapers urge the necessity for prompt action in providing protection for shipping.
