GENERAL ELECTION BOUND TO COME
PROBABLY IN JUNE. LONDON, 26th March. The Daily Chronicle states : "We are bound to have a General Election shortly, probably in June. The issue, popular freedom versus the Army, is bound to dominate it." The paper says that the Government must also democratise the officering of the Army. three-cornered contests at the forthcoming elections, and suggest that the Radicals contribute £5000 to the Labour election fund.
