UTILISING THE NAVY
LORD BERESFORD WANTS AN "ASSURANCE." (Received March 27, 8.30 a.m.) LONDON, 26th March. Lord Charles Beresford asked if the Navy would be given a similar assurance to that given to the Army, that it would not be employed against Ulster. Mr. Winston Churchill said that the Navy would be expected to obey without question orders received through the proper channels.
