RECENT STORM ENORMOUS DAMAGE IN N.S.W. SEVERAL MINES FLOODED.
(By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright.) SYDNEY, 25th March. Reports from country districts regarding the storm show that there was enormous damage to proptrty and stock. Over 26in of rain fell on the (south coast. One place recorded 12in in tw«lve hours. Several mines at Wollongong are closed, bei^/, too flooded to work. Thousands of men are idle.
