Bowling Analysis. — M'Girr took five wickets for 19 runs; M'Gill, five for 29. HOUSE- MATCH. Winder's defeated WardeH's by 58 runs, the scores being: Winder's 114, Wardell's 56. G. Bock and C. M'Kenzie; Hufct v. Victoria College, at' Hutt, Messrs. Jenness and Pickering. Mr. J. H, Board, who has concluded his fifth season of coaching in Napier, leaves on Sat*irday next for London. The Gloucestershire player, prior to leav | ing Napier, was thanked by many sup- j porters of the game for the good work he has done in the pact. The popular coach is more than pleased with the showing of the lads in the district, especially H. Seed and V. Clark. The boys of the Napier High School, grior to the departure of Mr. Board, presented him. with a set of pipes. In all probability Mx. Board will be located at Napier next summer. The Gloucestershire 'keeper is due at Lords the first week in May, and on th» 15th of that month the western county open its season at Northampton againet Northaats. Mr. Board has entirely recovered from his accident on the Arawa last April during the run Home, and is looking forward to a successful season with his county, which he has been associated with in ffflst-claes cricket for the past 23 years. Some of Mt. Board's cootemporaries in first-class cricket are — J. T. Hearne (Middlesex), W. Mead (Essex), and G. H. Hirst (Yorkshire).
