NEW COLLIERY TO BE OPENED IN N.S.W.
LARGEST IN SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright.) (Received March 25, 9.45 a.m.) SYDNEY.. This Day. It is reported that preparations are being made for the opening up of 4 large new colliery at Cessnock, 136 miles north of Sydney. Th© name of the party financing the scheme has not been divulged, but he is believed to be a wealthy speculator who negotiated the purchase of the same land five years ago. It will be the largest colliery in the v Southern Hemisphere.
