In presenting the eleventh annual ieport, to be read at the annual meeting on Friday, the committee of the Wellington Harriers expresses pleasure at being a,ble to report an increase of membership and a- better attendance at the runs, the average being 17. There is. however, still room for improvement, and the committee requests the wholehearted support of all members to make the coming season a. record one. The number on the roll at the preterit time is 50, 35 of which aro active members. Twenty-seven runs were held during the season. The following attended ever run : — W. Donaldson, Power, and B. Hatley, the latter being awarded a special badge. In place of the attendance badge presented lJet season, a. special trophy was given by the president for the member securing tho greatest number of points in attendance and runs-in during the season. «Thi3 was won by W. Donaldson, who also captured the trophy allotted by the committee to the member introducing the most active and financial members. Dilring the season five club races were held', the", successful competitors being as follow : — Novice Handicap : A. Pleasant, 1 ; G. Weston, 2. Palmer Cup : T. Harrington. 1 ; M. Harrison, 2 s W. Donaldson,' fastest time. Steeplechase* Handicap : W. Press, 1 j W. Power, 2. Ten-mile Handicap : T. J. Kerf, 1 ; W. B. Bennett. 2 and fastest time. Championship : W. Press, 1 ; E. Eagle, 2.
