Ie An epidemic of burglary and petty ul theft seems to be passing over Auckland, 1€ JudgnTg by the number of cases that ®j have recently been reported to the police. c The latest case is of a particularly daring jj kind, having been committed in beoad daylight on Sunday afternoon in a grocery shop in New North-road. The grocer is a loser to a considerable extent.
