BOWLING AT CARTERTON
(BI TKLKQRAPH— SPBCUL TO THI POST.) CARTERTON, 6th March. An interesting bowling contest took place in Carterton yesterday, when Featherston defeated a strong Carterton team in the Booth Cup competition. The Carterton players were in the lead until the tea adjournment. However, the visitors succeeded in winning the fixture by 8 points, Scores :— Featherston-— Knowles, Ayre, Holms, Everton (skip), 22.
