WAITER'S THEFT
ARREST CAUSES A STAMPEDE. (By Telegraph.— Press Association. -Copyright.) LONDON, sth March. A waiter named Clerk, in a restaurant in Boho, was sentenced to nine montlis' imprisonment, for theft. It is stated that when he was arrested seven other waiters stampeded, not ■waiting to receive their wages. The restaurant takings have since increased by £50 weekly.
