GRAIN & SEEDS IN OTAGO
(BT TELEGRAPH— SPECIAL TO THB POST.) DUNEDIN, This Day. It is expected that the grain and seed yield in Otago will be a little less this season than the average. The decrease will be most noticeable, it is said, in the yield ot grass seeds. As regards oat&, fehe yield has been good as a whole. The disposition of farmers, however, appears to favour a slackening off in the cultivation of grain crops. Increased attention is being given each year to pastoral and dairying pursuits. The markets for fat stock, sheep and lambs-, and butter and cheese have been very encouraging for a long time.
