- IX Earl Grey, who is expected to arrive from the south on Sunday, will be the guest or the New Zealand Club and the Wellington members of the Royal Colonial Institute at a luncheon in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall on Tuesday next. The Right Hon. W. F. Massey I will leave Wellington on Monday next for a trip to the West Coast and Canterbury. Mackenzie, of the .Onehunga Congregational Church, who recently expressed his determination to resign the pastorate and proceed to Scotland, was asked to reconsider his decision, but has decided to adhere to his former resolution.
