(BT miORAPH—MUSS ASSOCUTION.) AUCKLAND, This Day. The Auckland Gas Company notifies consumers that, in consequence of the steady rise in all costs of manufacture, accentuated by the effects of the late strike, the company finds it necessary to incresise its revenue. The directors aro averse to increasing the price of gas, and it has been decided instead to make a charge for meter rent, which to 75 per cent, of consumers will amount to 6d a month, and to larger consumers 9d a month.
At 1.30 p.m. to-morrow Messrs. C. W. Price and Co. will sell at 11, Patrickbtreet, Petone, household furniture, 16ft sailing boat, gartku topis, eta.
