THE EMPRESS THEATRE
The Kalem Company's feature drama, "An Unseen Terror," is proving a considerable draw at the Empress Theatre continuous pictures. The principal actor is a young man who is engaged in the study of criminology. By a trick of fate the young investigator subsequently applies his first test in discovering who is responsible for the death of his father. He believes that the criminal will sooner or later return to the 6cene of his crime. The theory proves correct, for the man who assaulted and robbed the older man revisits the place, and he becomes crazed through the recollections of the crime. The young criminologist observes tho man's strange behaviour, but before the police arrive the guilty one falls lifeless, .A sensational American railway drama, "Tho Engineer's Revenge." is a. creditable work by the Lubin Company. A word of praise is also due»to "The Miner's Request" (S. and A. Western drama), "Marine Shellfish" (scientific study), and "Peggy's Burglar" (Vita comedy). Tho selections by the Empress full orchestra nightly are much appreciated.
