The Petone No. 5 Garrison Artillery sports, which • were held this week,- resulted as follow : 100yds— France 1, Bolton 2. 220yds— Dent 1, May 2. Novelty Race— Pilcher 1, Dixon 2. Squad Relay Race— E Sub-section 1. Threelegged Race— Davis and Valentine 1. Royal New Zealand Artillery 100 yds — Mackay. 1, Saunders 2. N.C.O.'s Eace— Rodwell 1 (a very popular win), filcher 2. 440yds— Bolton 1, Wilkinson 2. Officers' Race — Captain Matthews 1. Since the commencement of the camp a billiard tournament (wop by SergeantMajor Fmlay)and two card tournaments (won by Parkin and Roberts) have been held.
