BLACKMAIL CHARGE
MATTER OF A TITLE. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright.) (Received February 20, 9 a.m.) LONDON, 19th February. During the hearing of the case against James Henry Maur, alias Everitt,- accused of attempting to blackmail a lady who alleges she is the wife of Princo Victor of Thurn and Taxis, counsel intervened, stating that he represented the Princess Thurn and Taxis, who was seeking to restrain the prosecutrix from using the title. The prosecutrix stated that her name was Josephine, Princess Thurn and Taxis. [Maur made the lady's acquaintance, and subsequently the so-called Princess received letters signed "Everitt" reflecting on her character and demanding money.]
