FIRE AT AUCKLAND
(BY TELKORAPH— PRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, This Day. A six-roomed house, with the furniture and effects, also an empty shop, in Mount Eden-road, owned and occupied by Mr. A. Chillinger, we.re destroyed by fire at midnight. The occupants escaped in their nightclothes. The furniture was uninsured. It is understood there was an insurance of £150 on the house and shop.
