Lady Scott has placed her husband's original journals of his expedition in the hands of the authorities of the British Museum. I BORN AND DIED A REPORTER. (Times— Sydney Sun Special Cables.) OTTAWA, 17th January. Mr. Franklin Matthews, editor and author, lecturing before the Columbia University School of Journalism, described Captain Scott as 'tho foremost reporter of modern times, He was born and died a reporter, although the world did not realise it. He lectures for a fortnight in South Africa on Scott's expedition.'
