SIR JOHN DUNCAN. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright.) (Received January 19, 2.36 p.m.) LONDON, 18th January. Obituary : Sir John Duncan, Cardiff. [Sir John Duncan was born in, Edinburgh in 1846. He was part-proprietor of the South Wales Daily News, South Wales Echo, aud Cardiff Times. He took a special interest in educational matters relating to Wales and Cardiff, and took an active part in establishing the Uni' vcrsity College of South Wales at Cardiff in 1884. He was chairman of the Press Association (1890-91), and organised (with Bai - ou de Reuter) Renter's special service of foreign and colonial telegrams. He was _ one of the early Fellows of the Institute of Journalists.]
