The new Watersiders' Union not complying with the direction of the Labour Department regarding the admission of ex-strikers, a meeting is to be held tonight to consider a report from the union officers who visited Wellington last week. The new unionists appear to. realise that a preponderance ot ex-strikers is inevitable, as the departure of the Te Anau, the houseboat, will cause a number of strike-breakers to leave the wharves.
