Bio. Jowett. A.D., presided at the fortnightly meeting of the Poneke Lodge, U.A.0.D., held at Petone last evening. One mtimlv.r wns declared on and three off tho sick fund. Bro. Button was duly installed as A.D.B. by- P.A. Bro. Gougli. Tho Royal Arch Chapter will mcrt at the Star of New Zealand, Lower Hutt. on 7th February, to confer decrees and initiate members. Next lodge night will be a "pound" night, in honour of Bro. Richardson, who is to lie presented with a P.O. collar and diploma, in recognition of hia valuable services..
