The,, Bishop of London, m view of the situation m Ulster, has authorised the reading oi a Collect next Sunday for "Deliverance from the serious dangers and discord threatening us m Ireland." A solemn service of intercession has also been authorised, introducing m the Litany a prayer for preservation against, the calamity of civil war. . The Bishop of Durham and the lenders of the various Nonconformist Churches have issued an interdenominational appeal for prayers next Sunday foi peace m Ireland and South Africa, wiudom m rulers, and a spirit of brotherly love among the people.
