Eight of tho men concerned in the Breßlau scandal have been sentenced to terms of imprisonment varying from six months to three years. Two accused were acquitted. [La&t month an extraordinary scandal caused consternation in Breslau, thirtyone persons being arrested for immorality. It was alleged that they inveighed seventy-two young schoolgirls at various times to a house in AugustaStraßse. An army officer, a polico official, an architect, and four tradesmen committed suicide, fearing arrest. A shocking feature of the scancfal was tho allegation that the parents in several instances were aware of, and even connived at, their daughters' ruin.
