The Council of the New South Wales Rifle Association, by seven votes to six, awarded the Kmg'6 Prize to Sergeant M'Alister. [The match for tho King's Prize provided an exciting finish between M'Alister and Edwards. M'Alister \vas docked 4 points for. allegedly exceeding the time-limit by one shot. He proteated, and the points were restored to his score. The two men then finished level, the scores being 295 all. On the shoot-off (three-shots) M'Alister won by a point.]
