OFFENDER'S MIND UNSOUND. (Bt TEI^BGEAPH — PBESS ASSOCIATION.) MARTON, This Day. Bonamy Beetham early this week was sentenced by justices to three months' imprisonment for ill-treating a hofie, having twice previously been similarly charged. An agitation among residehts to have him medically examined followed, and as a result Beetham has been difi' charged from custody, and, having been medically examined at Wellington, has been found to bo of unsound mind.
