In the Legislative Assembly the Deputy- Chairman (Mr. Thrower) took umbrage at Mr. J. Miller (Bathurst) asking him to speak up, and ordered Mr. Miller to withdraw the remark. Mr. Miller claimed that his request was a fair one, and threatened to report the matter to the Speaker. He refused to withdraw, and by Mr. Thrower's order the Sergeant-at-Arms removed Mr. Miller.
