TO-DAY'S PROCEEDINGS HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES The House met at 2.30 o'clock this afternoon. Notice was given by Mr. Craigie to ask the Minister of Education to definitely Btate whether he proposes to deal with the question of teachers' salaries this session. Mr. Clark gave notice to ask the Government if it is aware that a public servant, in receipt of £700 a year is receiving £300 a year for managing on outside estate. Mr. Bradney gave notice to ask the Minister of Education if it is a fact that Roman Catholic children attending school are not- allowed to travel free on the Government railways, and if he will so amend the regulations as to provide that all children attending school may travel free on the railways, irrespective of creed, class,, or colour.
