SOME ADDITIONAL PARTICULARS. Some additional particulars in regard to the wreck of the steamer Red Pino vi 1 Cook Strait on Friday night last, are supplied by the Press Association. Tha message, which is from Nelson, confirms the information received by the Marine Department, and published in Tho Post on Saturday, to the effect that the wreck occurrfed in D'Urvillo Island. Tho Red Pine, which was a wooden vessel, was built last year at the yards of Mr. R. Davis, Blaokwall, New South Wales. Her principal dimensions were: Length 147 ft, length over all 153 ft, moulded breadth ii9ft, moulded depth 10ft 9in, draught fully loaded, about 9ft 6in. Tho boiler and main engines were supplied and fitted by Messrs. Wildridge and Sinclair, of Pitt-street, Sydney. The machinery consisted of a set i of compound surface condensing engines, with cylinders 16 and 33 in diameter, with 21in stroke. The vessel had a multitubular boiler, with three furnaces, the working boiler pressure being 1301b. Helical geared steam winches and a steam windlass were fitted. The Red Pine was fitted throughout with electric light. It is stated that the Red Pino was the largest craft ever built' in New South Wales.
