EXAGGERATED DEMANDS INCREASE FIERCELY ASSAILED LIBERAL PRESS PROTESTS. By Telegraph.— Press Association. -Copyright. (Received March 8, 8.5 a.m.) LONDON, 7th March. The Daily News says that nearly the whole Liberal press in Germany is protesting against the exaggerated military demands, especially the war tax, in peace time. It is expected that the tax will be distributed over a long period. The chief Bavarian Catholic organ fiercely assails the increase.
