Guard Andrews stated that he called for tho fares twice in the compartment that defendant was travelling in between Johnstreet and Newtown, and she did not tender payment. William A. Powell stated that the guard had called three times for the fares after the tram-car passed the Basin Reserve. Mr. O'Sheft did not press for a heavy penalty.
