ENTERTAINMENTS
TIVOLI COMPANY. There was a numerous audience at the Opera House last night, when the Richards Tivoli Company gave its second performance of the Wellington season. From beginning to end the performance is first-class ; if there is any cause for complaint it is that the end comes too soon. The entertainment provided by De Biere tho Mysterious is one of the most finished performances that has been seen here for a long time ; every trick is performed with a neatness and dexterity that excite general admiration. Miss Nella Webb sang herself into the hearts of the audience in a very few moments, and sang song after song to the delight of all. The singing of Signor Marini, too, was a feature of tho evening : he has a beautiful tenor voice, and especially in "JJonna Mobile" scored a distinct success. The juggling by Chinko is well worth going a "long way to see, and last night the audience kept him on the stage as long as they could persuade him to' stay. Taylor and Arnold delighted all with their queer ragtime melodies, and Nellie Kaufmann's marvellous trick bicycle riding brought to a close a first-class performance.
